We call on all South Africans and more particularly ward 92 residents who have not yet registered to vote to make full use of the last voter registration weekend of 5 and 6 March 2011. Ward 92 residents please go and register at the following Voting Stations (VDs) on 5 & 6 March 2011 from 8am to 5pm: Arcadia Primary (CNR Pretorius & Ferrenden Streets), Pretoria Technical High School (CNR Park & Borke streets), NG Kerk (CNR Church & Wessels street) and Hamilton Hall.
Voting is a constitutionally guaranteed right to be exercised by all eligible citizens on who should govern them, never miss that right.
The ANC, an organisation with a track record in ushering fundamental socio-economic changes in the country since assuming power in 1994, has already - through the 2011 Local Government Manifesto launched last Sunday in the North West - spelt out key priorities and areas of delivery to the South African electorate. With our campaign strategy and plan in full swing, the ANC has begun to deploy its cadres to engage communities in various parts of the country with one message: "Together we can build better communities, vote ANC."
Furthermore, the Acting President Kgalema Motlanthe made an announcement of 18 May 2011, as the date for the Local Government Elections.
